Customer Care for Generation Y and Z

Hi, I'm Jannis, a millennial, and I work in customer service. I believe that modern-day customer service could be better than it is. With Generation Reply, I want to do my part to change this for good!

For me, excellent customer service means three things:

  • fast
  • friendly
  • personalised

Unfortunately, most customer service teams only exceed in two out of those three. It seems impossible to find a company that crushes all of them.

So, this is where I want to hop in. I want to bridge that gap. I want to share some of my thoughts on how to deliver truly excellent customer service for millennials. After all, I am one of them 😉

The intention of this blog is pretty straightforward: first and foremost, it is an idea dump. A place where I can write down my thoughts and help other people at the same time.

I will try to keep the posts short and concise. They should not take more than 5-10 minutes of your time. In my opinion, that's the ideal length for an article you can read over breakfast.

And, last but not least, a short disclaimer: I am not a native English speaker. I also see this blog as a project to improve my writing, so please forgive any mistakes I might make along the way.
